Today our Year 6 children had the opportunity to attend Crucial Crew, a hands-on, interactive event designed to teach essential life skills and safety awareness. During the visit, they participated in various workshops that covered a range of important topics, including personal safety, road safety, fire safety, water Safety and the dangers of anti-social behaviours and what this can lead to. The children gained practical knowledge on how to stay safe in different situations and learned how to respond confidently in emergencies. This experience not only increased their awareness of potential risks but also empowered them with the skills to make informed decisions and stay safe in the future.

Adventures in Learning - Spring Immersion Week
Snow Closures - Monday 6th January 2025
We hope you have a fun day in the snow today! Here are some suggested activities you could try whilst you are at home:
It is the Feast of the Epiphany today, so there is a PowerPoint and activity related to that. Alternatively, you can create your own Epiphany PowerPoint or piece of artwork.
Our Spring Term adventure in learning guiding question is 'How do people and our planet work together?' As part of that, you will be deepening your knowledge of ocean currents. What do you already know? Show us by creating a mind map, PowerPoint, poster or anything you would like and bring it back to school to share.
We can support our planet by recycling. Recycle your Christmas packaging by creating a toy for a reception child. Bring it back to school to share.
Go outside and try some of the activities on the sheet below.
Autumn Term 2024

Rievaulx had an absolutely amazing time at Beaumanor Hall for their Year 6 residential. It was a fabulous way to start the year and the children had the opportunity to take part in so many new, and sometimes challenging, experiences. We are really proud of team Rievaulx!
Please take time to look at the photos and videos to see what a fun time we had.
