Meet St Alban's Friends of School
Who are Friends of School and what do they do?
Friends of the School (FOS) are a group of parents who meet regularly to plan new events and activities for our school community.
The main purpose of the group is to have fun and meet other parents while raising money for our children and the school.
Anyone can be part of this group and the amount of involvement you have is down to you and your own personal circumstances - supporting at one off events, selling tickets and giving your ideas for future school events helps more than you know!

Summer Fayre 2024
WOW....What a way to end for the Summer!
Thank you to all of our Friends of School Group (Eileen, Kay, Gail, Sam and Lorraine) and to those who helped out on the day (Sheila, Catherine, Katie and Sharon along with a special mention to Mr Barnes on the wet the staff member stall!)– we are so very grateful! What a great Parish and Community event!
Yet again another successful fundraiser, helping to support our future school programs and initiatives that will benefit all of our children.
Theatre Production
2024
Our Christmas fund raiser run by FOS allowed 'Jungle Book' to come to St Alban's today!
This was such an enjoyable morning for our children allowing children to explore literature and the theatre culture.
Following this performance to whole school, our KS2 children took part in a workshop 'behind the scenes' here they learnt lots on teamwork and collaboration, understanding the importance of each person's role in a production, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively with other.
They had the opportunity to look and learn about the sound and lighting system used for theatre and how this is a crucial part of performances.
Christmas Fayre 2023 - Organised by FOS.
Thank You to FOS for all your hard work and everything you have done to make our Christmas Fayre enjoyable for all! Our children and parents/carers have commented on what a lovely, well planned event this was. With the money raised from this successful event will plan to have an extra treat for children with a theatre production - watch this space! We can't wait to see what is in store for the Summer Fayre!
