Autumn 2 Grand Finale: Nativity Presentation
Year 1 enjoyed taking part in the KS1 Nativity and showcased all that they had learned during their Advent expedition through song!

Judaism Week October 2024
This week Year 1 learned about the Jewish Harvest Festival Sukkot and learned why this is an important celebration for Jewish people. In groups, we made a ‘sukkah’ (a tent) using a cardboard box and leaves and twigs that we collected from outside.

In Maths, we have been focusing on place value within 10 using different math's equipment...
We have been delving into our class text- Where the Wild Things Are!
Some of us have even been writing book reviews on books we have read in the reading corner...
In Geography, we have been learning about England and London. We have used atlases to locate England and its bordering countries and have even created our own maps of London!
In Science, we have been identifying different animals and their animal groups.
In RE, we have been learning about Families and Belonging.
We have also enjoyed planning and taking part in class liturgies!

Roche and Selby explored The Great Barrier Reef using David Attenborough's interactive website, created and played in their own great barrier reef in continuous provision, read books and sang songs about the ocean, carried out independent research and consolidated this with a Kahoot! Everyone loved the Cinema afternoon watching Finding Nemo in the hall!
