After School Clubs

At St. Alban’s we pride ourselves on having an exciting, broad but suitably tailored curriculum throughout the school day.  To enhance this, our staff organise a variety of activities over lunchtimes and after school.

Lunchtime activities include: Multi-skills games and sports led by our Play Leaders in Y6 for KS2 children and Y3 for KS1 children and monitored by our TAs, teaching staff and senior leaders.

Mrs Dyson and Miss Gibson lead our School Council Meetings on Mondays and Mini Vinnies Meetings on Tuesdays respectively for children who are voted by their peers onto the School Council and Mini Vinnies group.

On Wednesdays, Mr McCormack leads an IT Club for all children interested in computing in KS2.  Our Chaplain, Mrs Reynolds also offers a lunchtime prayer group when she is in school, open to children of all ages.

Our after school provision is a brand new offer which is available every day school is open until 4.25 pm.  These clubs can be booked and paid for in advance on ParentPay and they are available if your child has a particular interest in the activities on offer or if you need to use school for wrap around childcare provision.  Our talented and experienced HLTAs who are also paediatric first aiders, run these clubs for children in FS1 (Easby Nursery) to Y6 (Rievaulx).
