Welcome to Kirkstall class with Miss Burge and Mrs Chapman.

As our summer term commences, we have started our first expedition. As our guiding question for this term is 'How can we love our planet?' We are going to be investigating the grounds around St Alban's and making sure they are habitat friendly for all the critters, big and small, making it an environment they can thrive in.

Kirkstall have some really exciting topics this year. Here is a list of everything we will be learning during the summer term.

  • Our class text: Who Let The Gods Out? - Maz Evans.
  • Our RE focus: Pentecost, Reconciliaton and Stewardship
  • Our maths learning includes: shape, decimals and converting units.
  • History expedition: Ancient Greece
  • Geography expedition: Biomes and climate zones
  • Science expedition: Animals, habitats and living things.

Keep an eye out for some amazing pictures of the adventures we have!
