SUMMER TERM 

Summer 2024 Immersion Week

The children are back and ready to work on a powerful message to all. We will be investigating climate change and habitats to identify the impact of human processes on wildlife. To raise awareness, we have conducted our own mini demonstration on the school playground at break time with placards made in school. Photos can be viwed on the Summer Immersion video below.

SPRING TERM

Thank you to all parents and carers that attended our grand finale to see the work the children have been creating.

MAGNA!

The children had a wonderfully immersive science day at Magna this week. Their favourites included the fire pavillion where children explored heating and cooling and even saw a real fire tornado being formed. The children also enjoyed the volcanoes workshop where they learned about volcano formation and used their super science skills to investigate they layers of volcanic rock.

LENT MASS

Fountains class did a fabulous job of dramatising the stations of the cross in church this term. They delivered a solemn service which was a lovely way to end our spring term. Photos can be viewed in the Lent Mass video further down the page.

Spring 2024 Immersion Week

ADVENT

We have learned so much already in our first Y4 term and have enjoyed closing the year with our advent production. Here are pictures of our beautiful angels, hotel manager and narrators.

Autumn Term 2023

We've had a jam packed term so far filled with taste-testing, exploring maps, investigating the impact of asteroids and much more.

We started the week with a taste testing session to prepare the children for their DT topic- lovely lunches. The children really enjoyed guessing the foods and flavours they were tasting. 

The children have loved using different media to locate human features near key towns and cities near across the UK.
