This week 14th November - 19th November there are a variety of special events taking place across the St Alban's community. Please read below to find out:

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

11am Mass on Sunday 14th November at St Alban's Catholic Church some of our children will be taking their First Holy Communion therefore we ask you to remember them in your prayers over the week.

ANTI-BULLYING AND ACTIVE TRAVEL WEEK

From Monday 15th November to Friday 19th November it is Anti-bullying week, Active Travel Week and Children in Need on the Friday therefore please see below the arrangements in place at St Alban's School.

As it is active travel week, we are encouraging everyone to travel to and from school every day in an active way. This could be by walking all or part of the way to school, on bikes with helmets or on scooters. These can be parked safely in our scooter and bike park each day.

On Monday 15th November we are encouraging everyone to wear odd socks to support Anti-bullying week and to celebrate how God made us all beautifully unique.

CHILDREN IN NEED

On Friday 19th November we will be supporting Children in Need in school by asking everyone to wear spots or Pudsey themed accessories. School uniform is not expected on this day however sensible footwear is and if your child has PE then they still need to bring PE kit. This year, BBC Children in Need have partnered with ParentPay to enable parents to donate to Children in Need using this method. If you have not yet set ParentPay up, please ensure you do so ASAP as this is the main method of payment we use now at St Alban's. Please click on the link below to set up ParentPay or call Mrs Hays at the School Office for support if needed.

We look forward to seeing our children and families supporting all these events that will take place next week. As usual, it is a busy week but as we all work together, it will undoubtedly be a fantastic one! Thank you, Mrs Ebsworth.
