Children’s Mental Health Week began today...
As we informed you last week, it is Children’s Mental Health Week this week, which is an annual week-long campaign run by children’s mental health charity Place2Be.
This year’s theme is “Express Yourself” with the focus on children finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas through creativity. Mentally Healthy Schools have created a toolkit of resources for children, staff and parents to use during Children’s Mental Health Week.
Please feel free to look at these websites to help you in supporting your children in addition to the links already sent and those activities listed on your children's Teams class pages. Around school today, our children have been enjoying our natural world outside in the beautiful sunshine as well as listening to music, engaging in art and mindfulness activities including games such as chess, safely with their friends and staff in school! We will share our photos of the week at our Celebration Assembly on Friday as well as on our website. Please make sure you send photos of your mindfulness activities at home this week with teachers on your class Teams pages so that we can share them with the school community.
Have a happy family fun filled week!
